Red Bull wins. Stunning car. WO5 is very ''busy'' at the back whilst the RB10 is quite clean. Ferrari 3rd nicest.

Of all the dildo noses, Mclaren has ''the nicer one''. Lotus doesn't actually have a car but if they do compete, it can play with the STR9 I suppose.

    Or not ;)

08:20 EDD STRAW, our scout in the pitlane this morning, reports that the Mercedes fired up again and rolled halfway out of the garage, only for its engine to stop. The W05 was promptly wheeled back in and hidden behind screens.

Mercedes is just as ugly as the Ferrari, but interesting that they both have the same solution for the nose. The RB is the prettiest by far.

No the Merc looks much better than the F hoover nose IMO, RB yes looks good clever design on that nose.

Red Bull made a huge mistake going with that type of nose. Ferrari and Mercedes are going to destroy them. That concept is far too much of a compromise and creates too many issues. Lots of aero guys have warned about using such a nose.

Thankyou Red Bull and Mercedes for attempting something other than a penis nose.

As stated by others already that RB nose looks like a very clever interpretation to accelerate air.

After seeing the Merc, don't understand why Ferrari nose had to be so low at the front, must be causing blockage problem. Also, why did Ferrari maintain the extreme angle on wishbones, again can't be good for suspension geometry.

Best overall looks as far as design integration is RB. Very nice surfacing, homogeneous design, no abrupt surface or area changes. 80's style vertical nose is nice, but sidepods look uncharacteristically large for RB.

The only chink in the RB armour I can glean, is that it was a rush job getting their car finished as they kept on developing last years to make sure they kept on annihilating the competition, so budget and time wise it probably needed more.

However the more Newey talks the more worried I get, he knows reliability is going to be a issue, with complicated engines and a lot more in the electrical package.

And with that, ladies and gentlemen, I can't see Lotus coming to Bahrain at all.

Ferrari used the nose itself to meet the height regulation while Mercedes used two pylons -one of which is just a vanity panel- to meet the regulation.

I think its funny that people can instantly tell what design will be a failure, or not, based solely on the looks. Honestly - we can no f-ing idea until the end of testing or the first race.
Good looking design doesn't equal speed

Sweet jesus it's hideous. They've just added a hideously infected donkey cock strap on.

Hadn't noticed that - thanks. So similar to Lotus solution, then.

Really looking like Ferrari have gone conservative again - and ugly to boot!
