I'm with Luke on this one... I have no desire to sell my 355 but if someone wanted to pay me some ungodly amount to pry it outa my hands, it would take something in the six figures. Not saying the car is worth that in the marketplace but to me, that's what it would take if you wanted my car. And I'd go right back out and buy another one! or two as the case may be ;)

I don't plan on ever selling this car though...if you see it on the market, you guys will know I'm in real trouble.

Nathan, is that your car? I have those exact seats in mine...this photo looks just like my baby. So if these guys on here think a well sorted 355 is worth say $50k, that means mine is worth at least $75k! Still too cheap for me to consider selling ;)

Yes, those are mine. Great seats! And you are right, I wouldn't sell for a penny less than $142,847.99.

As info Ferrari of Atlanta just listed a red/tan 3 pedal GTS for sale. Service up to date, 24k miles, $69k. No affiliation.

Do you by chance know if it has had valve guides or headers replaced? I have a friend who may be interested in it.

At the risk of inciting a riot, what range do you expect to pay for a manual GTS?

I'll put mine "off market" for sale for $124k to undercut Luke :) But in all seriousness it would take 6 figures to pry mine away from me just as those above me have said about theirs.

Apologies, I thought I read stick. More evidence that 3 pedal GTS's are hard to find! Push comes to shove I would trade mine for a 458 :)

Based on the Fchat threads I've read, it seems most of these guys who are "in the market" expect to pay $40-50k. For what? I'm not sure... I don't know the answer to this but are 355s in this price range: 1) well maintained and current on all service? 2) had all known issues addressed? 3) fully documented? 4) no "story"?

Again, I don't know the answer to this but I do know you can check all these boxes for my car plus I have the sport seats just like Nathan's and that adds another $25k from what I'm hearing out there ;)

We'll see what this one brings. I emailed the guy, he responded to me a few times, but I still can't tell if it's for real because I have not spoken to him.

Something funny going on. That car sold a few months ago for mid 40's, but the same ad is being used. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-Ferrari-F355-355-GTS-YELLOW-MAJOR-SERVICE-6spd-NO-RESERVE-/131026324257?forcerrptr=true&item=131026324257&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1e81c70b21&nma=true&si=POP1%252BRwei5IUermmluGkvyEVV38%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Yep, it's a scam....too good to be true. The guy said he was too busy to call via email, and said it was in Naples, I said I am in FL for business this week (I am) and would like to look at it...he said he won't be home until Sunday, then it would be available for inspection. It was just inspected in CA in November....and now it's in Naples?

I thought I had seen that car before....now I can say I have.

I've also inquired about it. no response other than a set of pictures. If the guy doesn't have any time to discuss the car then he shouldn't be trying to sell it privately. Put it on consignment

Definitely a scam. Just got another follow up email from the guy now saying the car is in San Francisco. I'm posting the VIN here to help deter anybody from falling for this.

That one just screams scam. "Location: United States" No reserve? Yeah right. That rarely happens with an exotic on Ebay unless it is junk/low end.

Exactly! That is why I was interested in hearing what someone who is currently looking has developed as an expectation.
