I thought the new nose requirement would make the cars better looking, but obviously I was very wrong! Most of the new schnozzolas remind me of the late Jimmy Durante. The only positive thing that I can say is that at least they don't all look the same anymore!

This is what happens when you ask a monkey to write the regs… This could so easily have been prevented.

My 2 cents: so the Mercedes is the best looking, Ferrari and RB close second, the Williams not too bad and then it goes downhill quick. The Lotus from the pictures doesn't look that bad, but I'm not sure they'll be able to keep that. Having the separate tips allows for cleaner air; what is the point of a regulation on having one tip if you're going to have two even disimilar. The Caterham, goodness gracious. I understand what they want to achieve (same clean air concept), but boy oh boy, that is pretty pretty ugly.
The list of the 20 ugliest F1 cars in history immidiately has one added.

Okay, with this picture, I know that it must been in the wind simulator, but does the
angle of that section where the (ridiculous) tip joins the rest of the car too steep,
large enough to cause small lift? I'd imagine that that angle should be lower so that the
air passes nicely without being disturbed, but with as little lift as possible, in other words,
there should be an angle there (not zero, i.e. flat), but some small angle.

Lastly, will that wing be strong enough? The two points holding it look so small compared
to the whole wing that it looks that at SPA it will just fly away...

I hope the car is quick(er), because it is not going to win any other prices...

It's going to take large attachments to admit being an F1 fan this season.

These aren't just ugly they're comical.

I assume those two black winglets/sensors may be providing some downforce. The wing mounting points def look fragile.

Nah. It's as good as it's going to get. The rest of the field has so much room for improvement they'll out class the RB in no time.

    It could happen.
    Right?

    ;)
