No don't do that., don't jump ship. Your one of the few fellows who's services to the 355s are invaluable I always buy my clutch and flywheel gear from you, outstanding service.
That's not a tubi, he's probably running straight pipes and something else. Mine with tubi, stebbro headers and hyper flow cats never sounded that good but close.
Was the 360 a Challenge Stradale? It has the grill, wheels and it looks like the correct mirrors...but I can't be sure. If so, the F355 sounds even more impressive by comparison.
360 with power craft sounds similar ...Xlr8 ,I guess my Tubi with straight pipes ( no insulation left) is old as dirt but it's not far off It clear comes down to exhaust choices ...that 355 sounds better than most 430
Ok. so I have watched the video 30 times myself. I have pretty much narrowed down my choices to a Testarossa or 355. I am considering the 355 primarily for the sound. There is nothing else street legal like it. My question is, with the 360 and the 355 running the same block and five valve heads with only 0.1 liter difference in displacement, why does the 355 sound so much different?
I can't imagine that 0.1 liters would make that much of a difference. I assume the difference is in head design, but I really don't know. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
different cams, itb's, different exhaust configuration. I don't think there's one thing, it's a combination of things.
It could make a difference if the changes were made in stroke as opposed to bore and what not. As someone else mentioned, the cams will play a large part in the way the engine sounds and where the power is made.
