Does anyone make a replacement door sill that is aluminium or something other than Carbon Fiber? My Rossa/Tan 355 Spider has zero CF and I think it's ricey to have just one portion of the car done in it. I like the looks of CF in a 430, Scud, or any other interior that is black, but not tan.

AFAIK it's only OEM or carbon. Some folks have refinished their original sills so that may be an option if you can remove them without damaging them. Personally I'd go for carbon sills and don't think it would be ricey at all.

I hope it's not ricey as it's the only cf in my car but my interior is black

You can get carbon of all colours, I even have silver on one of my cars.
I do see were the OP is coming from wanting sills made of other materials. Silver Aluminium (real) would look nice on a 355. You should see the plastic aluminium colour stuff on the 360 i had, boy that looked and felt cheap. :( Man that was a style mistake.
IMO caarbon is far from "rice" on a 355.

I replaced mine with cf and the original inserts. They look understated and great on the car . I have received two platinum concours awards with them as well.

There are some pics in my posts if you do a search. I'll post new ones if you'd like.

Yes, please post new pics of the combo of CF sills and OEM inserts.

For the record, I ordered a pair of aluminum inserts last summer from Carztuff. They took my money and never sent me the inserts. Given the time passage I can't request a refund from PayPal.

I bought 2 new oem's and had them powder coated satin black.

    No rust and look original.

Why not remove yours and have them recoated. Has to be cheaper than carbon fiber.

I myself do not care for CF.

Depending on where you buy them, CF can come in a variety of colors in the mat.

I am just not a CF fan unless the car has multiple CF touches (like a CF Driving Zone 430 or Scud) where multiple pieces are finished in carbon (i.e. shift paddles, radio surround, console, sills, etc). I also don't like it against tan but Dr Bob's look's interesting.

I think "jinx" would apply here?

I'm not a big fan of CF either (not even in the newer cars) but I was pleasantly surprised with how good my replacement sills look.
Everyone who has seen them in the flesh says they look great.
Certainly much better than the originals which were scuffed and starting to rust.

Unfortunately if you don't like CF at all there don't seem to be many other options.

It was your spelling of "colours" that threw me off. I wanted to Americanize it with "colors".

Your interior looks great. Where did you get the CF with the (what looks to be) aluminium Ferrari insert?

I've been looking at replacement sills too.
Pro-sport Ferrari (currently on eBay while their new website is set up) has a set of aluminium 'pattern' parts which are coated in Satin Black. I still need to request an image from them.

These door sills look really nice but has anyone put led lighting under the stainless Ferrari with carbon. Just bought my wife a new acadia denali and it has that with the denali lit up in red when door opens what a great upgrade to the bling standard I think.

Thanks. It's not actually aluminium. It's CF in silver - photo just doesn't show it that well.

I have seen CF sills with a brushed aluminium insert, and I think they look best of all.
Not sure where they came from though.

Mine are from Exotic Car Gear.
