Looks great. I love the white and the challenge wheels. It might look even better if you added some spacers. Also, shouldn't the inside of the front grill area be black?
It was. I am trying something different for a while. The deck lid is supposed to be black as well. Kai
Those rears look a lot more tucked in than mine, I wonder if they changed them at some point? Mine look to be an inch further out, no spacers. I like the white with challenge rims.
I am the third owner. I bought it sight unseen off eBay in 2007 bone stock from a guy in Virginia. Bought it with 40k miles and it now has 66k. Over the years and including with this recent service I have done the following: Challenge wheels Series Speciale carbon seats Momo steering wheel Hill Engineering gauge rings Aluminum center console New interior carpet Hill Engineering rotors SS brake lines New windshield New lowering springs New front end suspension Rebuild shocks Nouvolari Super Sport exhaust Straight pipes New clutch Dave Helms gold kit Complete repaint in white Painted back lid and lower valence in white as well New powder coat for valve covers and intake manifold I probably forgot a thing or two... Kai
This is a 1992 so I was running the stock wheels with 25mm spacers to give it the same offset as '93 and beyond. But with the spacers and challenge wheels and had way too much understeer because the track was way too wide. Once I removed the spacers and only ran the challenge wheels straight up the handling improved tremendously. I am running 295 in the rear and 235 up front. Kai
Great to see the car back together Kai. What colour did you paint your challenge rims? I was thinking of painting my stock white ones in the future some shade of silver/anthracite since the white gets dirty so easily. Pain in the arse to keep clean.
