That's a little better than the stupid caravan video!.....

That is the cover of last weeks Autosport I believe.

They sure need an 'update' in their PR department though! ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian

Mmmmmm........ Are they gloating about Red Bull having problems or desperately trying to prove that their car exists?

This was my initial reaction !

And perhaps this later tweet is acknowledging that the pictures of the car that day are faked !

The tweet below was in response to a tweet that showed two guys kissing and a reference to the Sochi Winter Games. It had nothing to do with the nose pic/tweet. The car was at Jerez and the only known pic is the one posted here already of Pastor pulling out of the garage. Apparently, Lotus and renault went to great lengths to ensure nothing got leaked.

I find it hilarious that Lotus are making it a big deal that they hit maximum allowable 'filming' mileage at Jerez last week which I believe is 100km. I'm certainly that's the most a Renault engine has run in one day.

Given the lack of mileage the other teams had, its a clear victory lol!

    From BBC- http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/formula1/26122651

"Renault Sport said it fitted the car with developments aimed at fixing the problems experienced at the Jerez test. These included minor hardware changes, software bug fixes and calibration improvements."

Working out OK for Lotus. They have a smooth if not short test with the new fixes and have zero issues. Waiting was not a total loss.

I believe Martini to Williams as a major sponsor is a done deal.

Martini is one of the best looking liveries ever to grace a racing car, can't wait to see this.

We need another strong team on the grid. I do hope this works out well this year for Williams!

Hopefully, Phil providing feedback will help too..... It's *very* early days yet, but 'so far so good' having topped the time sheets earlier.

    Forza Williams!

    Cheers,

+1...I have always been a big fan of both Williams (except when they had JPM) and Sauber's F1 teams. I hope that both are solidly in the mix and have successful 2014 campaigns.

Tost not expecting surprise innovation | Planet F1 | Formula One | News, Standings, Results, Features, Video

I think most can see the logic here and hope its not Red Bull again!

--Franz Tost has refuted suggestions that Formula One is in for a major shake-up, insisting that no one team will suddenly shoot to the front.

In the past Formula One has on occasion seen a midfield team emerge as a front runner-up after coming up with an innovative solution.

This last occurred in 2009 when Ross Brawn's Brawn GP team brought out the double diffuser and won the Championship while rivals worked furiously to incorporate the design.

And although this season there has been a major overhaul in the regulations, Tost doesn't believe someone is going to find an innovation that sets them apart.

"I don't expect something like this," the Toro Rosso team boss told Autosport.

"This was a very special case because Brawn won the Championship because of the double diffuser.

"I don't expect a team will come up with such a surprising solution for 2014."

In fact the Austrian believes the new rules will play into the hands of those already at the front of the field as they have the budgets to cope best.

"I expect the top teams will be in front.

"I don't expect a big change, especially now after the regulation change because they have the financial resources and the manpower to be flexible to make any changes, which you have to make with a new car.

"The more money and the more resources you have, the more successful you will be."--
