I am assuming that the steering wheel will be manually adjustable if the electric option were deleted. Is that correct? Is the wheel adjustable only for height or also fore and aft? So sorry for the basic questions, but I want to strike the electric option from the dealer's suggested list.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Wheel goes up/down and fore/aft.

We have the manual adjustment, which is fine. Part of the "pre-flight" routine after booting up the car is to adjust wheel and seat, and buckle up. My wife and I use different positions, it's not a big deal.

It's one option you can do without IMHO, but if you like it, go for it.

I have manual steering. Since I am the only driver, as far as I can remember I adjusted it only once, at delivery time.

Get the int & ext electrochromatic mirrors in case you need the side mirrors to fold in.

Thanks, Entropy, 458dreamer. I'll do without the electrical adjustment.

It is nice to have though when you exit car. Easier to get out and not rub bolster on seat.

Thanks, F430kenric. Mercedes must have had that advantage in mind when they put in a flip-up wheel for the Gullwing.
