    So, in the California section we've had some conversations and exchanges on who's going to be there and when. The cool thing would be if we could arrange a few meetups if any of us from FChat are at the show on the same day. The main highlight of this year's show for Ferraristi will be the launch of the new California.

    It seems like a fair portion of us are defintively interested in meeting up. So if you're going to the Geneva Auto Show this year and you too want to meet some FChatters, leave a comment with when you'll be there.

    Alternatively, if you want to keep your travel dates private, you can send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with the guys who comment or PM the same date(s) as you do.

    I'll be there the whole day 10th March. :)

    i go several times, so just post up what day you are there and i will try to hook up with you. i will have 2 passes to the ferrari stand and since my son is away at school i wont have anybody to take.

    I have all my invitations already arranged, but thanks for the offer! (Maybe someone else here might be interested?) Me and my friends will be there March 10th as stated in the OP. :)

    I will be going on the 13th. Porsche and Jaguar are normally open to public but it is MUCH nicer and you are not rushed if you are in the "closed off" area. No people pushing you to get near or inside a car ;-)

    PS Ross I will be there on the 13th so if you are there would be glad to meet up.

    Hm. Is there a closed off area with cars at the Porsche stand? I was only familiar with the lounge, not that there is an area with cars. I thought the stand was just the open area, like in the picture below.

    Last year in Geneva there was also a closed off area apart from the lounge where there were very few people and it was extremely easy to get into the cars. Maybe this year there will be a 918? ;)

    went yesterday on the ferrari dealer badge. it was one of the press days so the crowds were not there luckily. i got a good look at all the cars. i also was lucky enough to meet ron dennis, tadge juechter, and horatio pagani.

    i will post some pics later.

    Cool. I tried to get in on the press days but my dealer said he didn't know how to arrange it. No sign of LaFerrari? :(

    the laf was not there. nor was the p1 btw. cali t was center stage. however, the order on the stage will probably change before it opens to the public tomorrow.

    Kind of pissed off right now.

    My dealer has forgotten to add me to the guestlist for monday for all the major manufacturers. As I'm only there that one day, and I told him weeks in advance and he said "I'll fix it, I'll fix it."

    Now he hasn't done a sh*t, and I'm going to have to argue my way in with all the stand people....

    Does anyone have contact details for someone I could talk to, to arrange things? Or anyone have an extra invitation? It would be greatly appreciated.

    I am in Geneva this Sunday from about 11.30 AM during the afternoon together with my 15 years old son and his friend.

    If you could arrange to come on Sunday too I guess I could take you into the Ferrari area.

    Good to see someone else is wearing red pants! Here's my "trouser shot" from Frankfurt last year. :D

    How did the staff treat when you were there? Was it hard to get into the atelier without a prior appointment/accompanied by a sales rep?

    The red pants were from my son who did the photo. You can see me on the left side from the back.

    They had a lot of staff (sales rep) there waiting for customers. I know all 3 sales reps from my dealer and one of another dealer and they all were there and I talked to them. If you don’t have a dealer who is there I assume you will just talk to some random person.
    I didn’t even know that they have the atelier there. So one of my sales guys asked me if I wanted to have a look. A couple just had finished the spec of their car so we could enter. If there is nobody inside the atelier you may have a visit. If somebody currently is designing their car I assume they won’t let you in. In any case you can’t go by yourself into the atelier (at least I assume so). There is a nice “bodyguard” lady in front of the atelier door.

    Sounds like all is as usual at then. Hopefully we can have a look inside the atelier this time, as the last time I was there it was booked for the entire day with people specing their cars. So no entry...

    Your son has a good taste in trousers. ;)
