Because not everybody chooses to mount it in the exact same location.

Hmm, OK. I really don't understand why multiple mounting locations would come into place - is it different for spiders and GT's?

And, the kit could supply a bracket for a specific mounting location and if the user wanted something other, they could make there own at that point.

I said pump and motor or in other words -- the complete pump assembly from a 360. I assume that if it's the complete assembly then there's only maybe brackets required but no other adapters?

edit -- NM, I saw the Ricambi kit and now I understand the adapter is needed regardless. When I was mentioning the pump and motor I was thinking the electrical motor and the hose fittings (as opposed to just the motor itself).

What do you mean argue I have not seen anyone post on how to bleed the system that has done it consistently.
If they have could you post it in the 355 DIY thread. Maybe I'm having a lapse in memory?

I don't blame you for being unhappy, the workmanship in modyfing the shaft is truly pathetic, to top it off he managed to damage the bearing at the same time. How long is that going to last

Clearly someone with no eye dear.

Glad PayPal is issuing the refund.
I think the seller should be disclosed as they are clearly someone for everyone to be aware of.

Yeah really. I was ready to offer to contribute to a lawyer fund. If I was a lawyer I would donate my time pro bono. You have enough evidence for fraud clearly and hack work. If that bearing was in my speed skate rollerblades, I think I would wipe out in just a couple runs. Not cool especially in this community. Man if you wanna try an experiment fine, but don't hide in the shadows and try to ripe our brothers off. Glad you're getting a refund.

The seller is a former member of Fchat who was banned for commercial solicitation as a non-sponsor in 2010.

    Well said Daniel !!

As for outing them do a search on e bay for 360 pump motor or 430 pump motor. The seller is located in Texas . The bloke is a complete jerk as far as I'm concerned! I'm not even going to start about some of messages I got from him when it all went pear shaped but I wish he had been there in person and he would have been served some good old Northern Ireland justice !! To all u guys thanks for ur support

Steve, Did you at least leave him negative feedback? I searched flea bay and couldn't determine who it was as there are a few from TX and they all had 100% feedback. Maybe I missed him...

I have never understood the reluctance to provide names publicly when things go wrong. If only the facts are reported (and accurately), there should be very little concern for slander, etc.

I see this as the only way to prevent it from happening to other forum members. Seems like we should be looking out for each other rather than protecting the dishonest ones.

You make a very good point.

I really wish I'd "named and shamed" the ******* on here who ripped me off $1800 for a 360 steering wheel. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Partly my fault though. The prick joined, advertised the wheel, and then ****ed off as soon as some gullible idiot (me) bought it.

    :(
