    My 97 355 idles with what feels like a small cam lope, you know, or could it be a misfire? How smooth is your F355 at idle? When I say cam lope, I can see my external rear view mirror dance up and down slightly at idle. Just trying to figure if I have a mis or if this is normal.

    Well I'm in chicken little mode currently, I fear that the shudder I feel in 6th gear at low speed is a misfire/low compression. I'm waiting on my stethoscope to arrive before I pull the pumpkin apart. I always fear the worst first. The 'cam lope' though I've always had since I bought it 12k miles ago, just wondering if that's normal.

    It should run smooth and there are a number of possibilities why it doesn't. Start with the clutch/flywheel noise. Do the easy stuff first.
