BTW, you really only need to install the rear heat shield to protect the tail lights. The rest of the heat will just vent through the lid.

Nice looking weld on the brace! I like how you ran the pipes. It took me 3 different tries to get it the way I liked it. It's the never ending winter here in Illinois. Can't wait to get it on the road again.

I used the stock mounts, so it allows some flex to the system. It is all thread with tubes on top, makes it adjustable. I designed the system myself and had a friend do the welding.

It's an Endless Summer down here. High was 78 and the low tonight is 74! Normal winter weather. In the Summer it's 92 high and 87 low on average. Doesn't change much from day to night. I love it!

Thanks for rubbing it in. I have 2 feet of snow in my yard! I used rubber exhaust hangers bolted to the stock brace where the muffler was hanging from so it can take some of the vibration.

Wow, I need that sound on the Mondial!

...question is of cause if the Police would not stop me for that... :D

Compared to stock, how much as the volume increased do you figure?
Just quite loud or rattle-your-teeth without earplugs loud?

    Cheers, Niclas

My dream setup would have perfect back pressure for the rpm and throttle position with adjustable sound via the cockpit for different moods

I have Tubi headers, Hyperflow cats and Tubi exhaust, very happy with the set up, no CELs and sounds great. Both my mechanic and I were too uncomfortable going with headers that did not have integral heat shields so it limited the choice to either Tubi or stock at the time in 2007. Looking back, the only thing I might change would be changing the Tubi exhaust for a Capristo Stage 3.

Money no object, this would be my perfect setup, with a Capristo exhaust instead of Tubi (nothing wrong with Tubi, just prefer the high pitched scream of the Capristo).

So; Tubi headers, Hyperflow cats, Capristo exhaust.
And Gruppe M intake, despite not really liking how it looks...

    If I had a 355, it'd be with:
    Tubi headers
    GothSpeed muffler
    HyperFlow cats
