What finishing process did you use on the steel parts? They look almost surgical.

Hilarious. I've never thought of it but I have no doubt my wife has been on here looking at junk I have written. I'm sure she didn't stick around long reading my wonderful questions on where to get cheap relays or how the 512 bb is the next fcar to rise in value haaaa

Purty stuff there. Try not to get it dirty putting it on.
What she doesn't know won't hurt her.......... Like cleaning pistons in the dishwasher.
EDIT and disclaimer just in case; In another life with another wife.

The parts look superb - when they're fitted don't forget to underseal the entire underside of the car to protect it !

This all started because I had a bad wheel bearing..
The suspension arms and hardware were cleaned in a hot tank at a local engine rebuilding shop for $100. The owner laughed at me when I said they were for an old Fiat; he has a 360 stashed in the corner of the shop. Next some sandblasting to remove corrosion then a wire wheel to even out the finish. No charge to do it just remind me to wear a dust mask next time. I found a shop to do a zinc finish and they charge by the piece. Good guys, military certified quality, $450 plus a 12-pack of good old Budweiser for the crew and they also plated my 4 new rotors and anodized some other pieces I needed to get done. One shop wanted $1000 without the rotors and few places wanted to deal with such a small job. They are not the straw color that an oe part is out of the box but I'm not too concerned. The plating is a sacrificial coating so it will change over time and I am not the type to polish my suspension pieces. Bushings are poly. I found a guy who had uprated drop link bushings sitting on a shelf getting dusty so I grabbed the 12 I needed. New custom ss brake lines. An adjustable height and slightly stiffer than stock eibach spring system is going in. Shocks balanced on a dyno. Calipers refurbished at PMB. Porterfield pads. New insulation and heat shields under the car and in the transmission tunnel. Ceramic coated headers and muffler delete (4 of 6) exhaust. Fuel pump. Fuel lines. Differential bearings. CV joints. Torque tube bearing. Transmission support bushing. I have a bunch of pics and hope to make some technical threads once it's all done. Oh, and I did replace the wheel bearing.

That car is going to be tight. I hope she's ready for a look over next time I'm in Beantown. You've done great things for her.
