Hi Jon, no problem. yes, the black Mondial, with my fren & atf430challenge (Alex) at the back :) I think my car was the 2nd oldest F after the Dino in the parade :) it's good to have family members sharing the same passion/hobby like Bikz & his father. I'm the only guy in my family into cars. My family thought I'm crazy sometimes :(

Hi Alex, hope you enjoyed the ride. Sorry aircon was not cold enough for the hot hot day & the seat was too small for you :( the pretty girls in the FF was a lot more comfortable than us lol

    hey Jon,

wished we met you man....anyway did you mean "they did not" hit a record?

but the thing is i don't think the people from Guiness Book of Records or the Malaysian Book of Records were called........they have to be called beforehand and need to make it official before a record can be set i think (plz correct me if i am wrong)
....i don't recall any notice of them being there nor were there any announcement made for drivers with their cars to stick around......

we malaysians love having the biggest this or the largest that and with that in mind, trust me, it would have been proper heboh if we were to set an official record!!!

No problem F-car - thanks a lot for letting my ride with you guys and finish off Racing Days in a way I'll never forget! To be part of a convoy of more Ferraris than I've ever seen in my life, out on Sepang under the brilliant sunlight - just wow!

I've put up another video of the XXs heading out on a Le Mans start: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ozQQX2-EJg]Ferrari Racing Days 2014 Round 1 Sepang - Ferrari FXX Evoluzione and 599XX Evoluzione Le Mans Start - YouTube[/ame]

Also here are the photos I took of the FChat Malaysia crew, along with a snap of Bikz's gorgeous looking 348 out on track at Sepang.

PS: Bikz, can you ask your brother for the photos of me together with the crew and post them up? Thanks in advance!

I saw the red 328 (plate ACR6 iirc) when we arrived in the morning but didn't see the car during the parade. I think that car is '88 or '89 with 16" wheels.

I believe the largest was in 2006, when they launched the 599 GTB. The entire grid and pit lane were filled with Ferraris. Scroll back a few pages...:D...there's the pics there...

Very nice pics, guys! Thanks for sharing.

Btw, anyone knows of any good and reliable workshops other than naza italia for servicing/repairing a 360 Modena, klang valley area? Thanks

have you sent your car to NI before? honestly speaking i would think they are still the best for Ferraris due to them having had constant training from Ferrari and due to the fact that they are accountable when your car leaves them after service etc.

Is NI charges lower than Naza? Naza normally gives discount on parts. Do they mark up and offer discount after? What do u reckon?

    michael,

NI is Naza Italia....they do give a slight "feel good" discount but that's just marketing...it's like that in most dealerships..... for older cars, just order your own parts from the UK or US and take it to NI and pay for labour......i was told no other ferrari authorised dealership in the world allows for that....so we're in a good spot....only downside is their workshop is normally full to the brim and you have to wait till they sort out the queue ahead...
when you say mark up, let me tell you that all workshops mark-up! that's how they make profit!!! in fact for more modern F cars, i would think NI is the best because they have bulk of those models and have parts in store......if you go to places like EM etc where they do all makes and models, they will order parts based on what cars they have in hand.....so prices will be considerably higher.....

Anyone had this problem with their 360 before? Car still starts and runs like it's supposed to be. No difference felt while driving. The warning light does not blink and it is there even before I crank the car and remains on throughout. Any idea guys? Thanks

I concur, invoices that I have seen are all from NI. Quite a few big things done though. Do they offer 24 hour breakdown tow service or how it works? With our cars you will never know when the slow down or check engine lights will come on. Do you guys always drive with suspense or hell come what may.

    Cheers

are you referring to the 456? they do arrange for tow service 24 hours a day 7 days a week.....not by NI directly but they will help contact a flat bed and get the car to their place in PJ any time of the day any day of the week....at your expense of course!!!

    Bikz,

No, the 456 has too many issues to fix but was sold at last. Got a 550. Do you have the contact no to call for tow service? Any good place to dye a small part of the seat leather?

    Hakimi,

Many cars over there for you to cuci mata!! It shows that these cars break down faster than fix. Haven't you had enough at the Sepang day?

    Regards

    Michael
