I'd love to have both of these books but shipping costs to the US are just prohibitive. I sent an email to Horton's a couple of weeks ago asking if they have copies of these warehoused in the US, but have had no response. If they're going to be at Amelia Island I could ask a friend to pick them up for me.

I agree, Ferrari Fever is a great book. Even the chapters on his early life and on Alfas are interesting and very well written.
There is a lot of reading ahead!

Hi. I would like to ask what is the difference between 2 books: "Enzo Ferrari 50 Years of Motoring" and "Enzo Ferrari 50 Years of Greatness"? Tables of Contents of two books seems to be very similar. Thank you.

Very nice! Can't wait to get my copy!

@ Nathan, When can we expect the limited edition issue?
One (matching numbers) should be reserved for me.

    Hi Maarten
Pleased to hear you are so keen to receive our latest book. The books are all now available, including the 'red' version, so please contact Hortons. I know they are going to be at Essen, so you might be able to collect there.

Glad you are enjoying it: it was an honor and a pleasure to be a a part of its creation with Paul and Eau Rouge!

Here is one of the first reviews, very positive

    Ferrari Fever: A Life

and it is also book of the month in Octane:)

FYI I have no stake in its sales since I was paid my fee long ago.

Congrats also to Nathan and Ron for their opus!

    best regards,

    Marc

Bravo, that looks like a very nice and neat GT4. A Dino or a Ferrari?
I ask this because, over the years, many Dino GT4 owners changed all their Dino badges to Ferrari.

And, after 1975, they were badged as Ferraris by the factory as well.....

I got my copy a couple of weeks ago. I have only skimmed through it but would recommend this book highly. The author, though controversial on few subjects, seems to have a masterful content of his personal provenance which is accentuated with countless wonderful historic photographs. When I get thru updating my 1700+ individual s.n. files starting with 01C this book with be one of the first I will pick up. tongascrew

Are there any other books where tracing paper should be used to protect some of the internal pages from sticking to other pages? I know I've run across at least one other book besides those published by La Mille Miglia Editrice, but I can't recall which ones. Any suggestion on where to source acid-free tracing paper? Thanks.

There's another book - Ferrari125 - Progetto. Tecnica. Storia - which has similar high gloss pages. Also, not a Ferrari book - but D24 e Le Lancia Sport is the worst example I've seen. Every copy is badly damaged.
