Luckily, they didn't need new shoes, it was the slave cylinders that were seized up, so they stripped them honed the bores & fit new seals - bingo!!! or should I add hopefully, it will go for the MOT Monday, I am sure it will be fine, when I get the cars here I will give them a thorough check & let you know what they are like, The LM was sold new in Johannesburg so there should be no rust issues, it is high altitude and very dry there, great for old cars.

Bo Helicopter battery cable. Good for about at least 500amps I use this as the main battery cable. Should last a lifetime. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MBB_Bo_105 The battery cable terminal is hidden behind the rear seat box frame. There is going to be more aircraft parts in this than normal car bits by the time it is finished, I must say they certainly give a real quality finish to the job, I see you are putting the trim back in, all looks new & very smart. I am still waiting for the Dating certificate from Lamborghini, starting to get a bit fed up with them, at 540 pounds it should be same day service!!!!
Thanks Nick, One of the benefit of having a good friend who runs aviation parts is that I can have access to very high quality used stuff at a fraction of the price. For example, one single aviation grade 1amp-10 amp fuse is about $330.... and the car uses 30 of them, ouch . These stuff last 30 years in an aircraft which means it will last a lifetime for automotive use. I don't want to have to problem-solve 23 years-old Italian wiring one the car is already being restored. So I decided to change/re-wire/re-route things that my aircraft mechanic (Prof. Indra) and my "consigliere" did not like (Tony aka LambruscoV12). My goal is to make the LM002's electrics as reliable as a Land Cruiser, which means it has to be as a reliable as a Toyota. This is a very tall order, hence the aviation grade parts. Hmmm... 540 GBP for a birth cerificate ? Nice I e-mailed Lambo about 9 months ago, but nobody seemed to remember the RHD. Turns out back then two LMs were sent to Prodrive UK to be converted to RHD (at a nice labor and parts price I assume) then to Lamborghini Wycombe. Prodrive made 2 RHDs, one Harrods green color and the other one is Gold. Mine is the Harrods Green chassis no 234.
Yes the leather is all-new nappa now. Using Wollsdorf https://www.facebook.com/wollsdorf This is the best one I can find in the country. IIRC the total material used was 550sq-ft. Installed by this company : https://www.facebook.com/VertueCorporation http://vertuecorp.com/ Smells nice now. Luv it.
For sound insulation and heat reflective material I use this : https://www.facebook.com/Standartplast Heat shield mat for engine bay: http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS-Performance-Products/JEGS-Lava-Mat-Heat-Shield/1412518/10002/-1?itemPerPage=90&pno=1
One of my Consigliere's new guard animal on the workshop. First Betty the Cockatoo, then Dakota the Golden retriever.. and now this I am very confident that the Lambo is secured Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL. Hahahahhahaha. Funny we were jokingly discussing about that Monty Python movie with the killer bunny last night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgj3nZWtOfA

Aviation cables are different than our normal black and red, they are ALL WHITE. How those engineers and mechanics understand them is beyond my comprehension. IIRC It is all individually coded/numbered. Luckily our friend Prof. Indra and his mate do this for a living.
Yep. Killer Rabbit that will work. I took a look at Vertue Corp's website, they look to do some really nice work, That wiring job you are doing is stunning. I am OK with most thing automotive, and have completed a few complete re-builds, but wiring is not my strong point & when something stops working I go in a cold sweat, because finding a good sparky is not easy either. When do you think the job will be finished!!!
