    I sure can.
My car was done 7 yrs ago and it has been water and air tight ever since.
Very professional technicians that really know what they are doing.
However, I need to caution you that just fixing the regulator may not be enough, as also the glass guides need fixing in certain cases and in extreme case also the door seal needs replacement.
    Good luck,
    A.

This is how I also found this thread, for which I'm most grateful. Vitor, I've been in Ferraris for 36 years, my first the 1967 365GTC prototipi, and seven since then. My last, an F355 berlinetta whose first owner was Ferrari connoisseur/collector Peter Kalikow, I sold just two months ago. It was finished in your blu scuro micalizzato, a Ferrari color that in these 36 years I had never seen nor even heard of before I saw your 456, read post #10 on this thread and saw the color etiquette in your photo. It is the most beautiful Ferrari paint I've ever seen! Here's my old 355.

    I love this color !
Your 355 just looks amazing in that blue!! :D

I think Peter Kalikow likes blue also , since his special 612 and 250 Calfornia are blue!

I wonder if the special 612 is "Blu Scuro" ?!?!

    All the best
    Vitor

Started working on the suspension again , replaced the bushings by new ones from Superformance .

Just bought the two tie rods that my car use , and since it an older 456 , assembly number 16463 , it uses an old type , part number # 153262.

They are very very expensive!!!!!!!! :( :(

As others have said, great thread Vitor.

It is interesting to see the common maladies across these cars (I have a 575), like leather being sun baked or various parts becoming sticky. It's also interesting to see the differences that may be driven by European versus typical US driving patterns. My 575 does not have a spot of rust on it. Great to crawl under and see how clean it is when its on the lift in my garage. Gets used only in nice weather, as i suspect is true for many cars here. My DD is a Maserati GS. Great car but gets driven in all weathers, including our Midwestern winters. Now, looking underneath that car and seeing all the pitting in the cast components from road salt is really disappointing, but unavoidable.

I am surprised though by the amount of mechanical work you've needed to do for what is (I'm guessing) a fairly low mileage car. The torque tube bearings for example. Maybe I misunderstood, but I am puzzled why this component would wear. Perhaps it was a "while you are in there item" which I do understand. Ten years ago I had a 77 308 and had to through all systems and replace wear parts and many "rubber" components (seals, bushings...). Perhaps it is the nature of the beast.

Again, great job and thank you for the contributions.

    Philip

    Hello Philip,
Thank you for your kind words! :D
My 456 has 110000KM , i gues it´s around 68000 miles it´s not much for a car like that , but there are parts that need attention such as the suspension bushings , the shock absorbers , so while i´m there i thought it would be good to pay some attention to other areas of the car.

I know that the 456 won´t go up in value , ever , but i bought it because i´m in love with this car since it came out , in 94... ;)

It´s a real pleasure to drive it and most importante i can share that experience with my wife and our 2 daughters ! :D

The torque tube bearings were still in fairly good conditions but since the gearbox was out it´s the perfect time to replace them . Trust me , the transmission is quite heavy to take out!! ;) ;)

I agree with you , about the rust, that also suprised me on a negative way :(

    All the best
    Vitor
