Is the first car's colour Rosso Fuoco or Rosso Rubino? Amazing cars both of them!

I think this Aperta is the goofiest looking Ferrari. That's my opinion. My apologies to those who own them.

I'd like to see Ferrari NOT follow the industry standard of thinking they need to have a soft top and a "scudded" version of every model. They are following the program of Porsche...a 911, then 911 S, then 4 then 4S then turbo then turbo S, and targa, and whatever else. Uggh! Why? Why??

I have seen many Apertas between the Cavallino in Palm Beach and Pebble Beach car week, I'll go back through photos and see what VINs I can find!

Correct. It's just called Superamerica 45.

Aperta just means "open", but it's not part of the name for the SA 45.

The SA Aperta however does carry the wording, and is thus the SuperAmerica Open in plain English. Not exactly what you'd call inventive...

Kalikow owned a classic SuperAmerica and I think this was done on the 45th anniversary of that older car. Don't have time to google it, but I think that is right.
