It is rarely the pump but rotex in gardena ca. can rebuild it for under $150 bucks. More likely you got a hose leak which can either be replaced as a disposable part or custom made if good hydraulic guys are in your area. sometimes you get lucky and it is the banjo washers because the nut is loose...unlikely. Make sure you are OK with your diagnosis. I can't see much in the clip.

That is the a/c compressor. Power steering pump is up high in the middle of the engine, driven with a small belt off the water pump pulley. Very common for those to leak.

Power steering fluid is normally red in color, a/c is clear.

Ok thank you. So what am I seeing that's bubbling in that video? Do I need a new ac compressor or are those rebuilt?

    Bob,

I would wait until it gets warmer out. Then have the AC pressures checked. Or you can buy a gage set and check them your self. ATD Deluxe Dual Brass AC Manifold Gauge Set 3694 Probably cost abouty the same. You may need to have fluid added. If there is a leak, add a can of AC stop leak. Again, you have nothing to loose by trying that. I found it very effective in my 308. The 308 would loose its AC charge about every two years. I added a can of stop leak and it's been fine for the last 5.

And if it doesn't stop the leak, again, your not worse off than before.

Does the amount of seepage change when you turn on the A/C and the A/C compressor clutch engages? Of note: if you have had enough leakage and the pressure in the system has dropped, then the clutch won't engage. You'll know It's working if you hear a "click" from the clutch when you hit the A/C button.

The clutch turns on and off with the ac controls and the amount doesn't change that I can see. It's a greenish colored viscous fluid. Maybe enough hasn't seeped to create an ac issue?

I'm not convinced it's originating from your A/C compressor. Green is suspicious for coolant that is leaking from somewhere above the compressor and sliding down to there. If you open your coolant overflow tank, poke a stick in there, pull it out and take a whiff. Now compare and contrast that to what you're finding down below. If they match, then you're going to need to track down a coolant issue.

I'm with you on that Paul and was thinking the same due to the ac seeming to run ok. Also I think above the ac compressor is wrt as well

Maybe what appears as bubbling on that video is just accumulated fluid agitating at the lowest point and not originating from thee ?

I looked from the too and don't see anything. Ill pressure test the coolant system next.
