Just make sure you announce when and where in advance. Poppin' a motor usually draws guys like a dead animal in the bed of a pickup truck.

I'm not due for a major for three more years ( will be five years and 15000 at current usage levels ). But you are more than welcome to come by and visit anytime.

NJ in the summer is pretty nice.

I see you did your oil at FoLI Clyde. I was thinking of doing something this spring summer like Bruce does and having whoever wanted come over one day and do fluid changes . etc. using my lift. I am going to do all my fluids this year and anyone is welcome to come and help/do your own as well.

Petey , we'll look at some dates. I'm ordering all my fluids now. I did brakes/clutch and oil last year myself , will add coolant and trans this year. Coolant looks straightforward, trans looks like a potential PIA.

Got news for you. The southern Cal stooges did all their work in the drive way, on the ground, no lift.

Trans is easier than the oil...just need a long slender funnel to refill. No sweat. I'm in Rockland County, Happy to help when the time comes.

Actually it is even easier than that! Buy aquarium tubing and wedge it on the end of the pour spout on a bottle of Mobil1 synthetic gear oil and you are golden. Many like the redline shock proof. Not sure what spout it has. Mobil1 works perfect 95% of the time and is available everywhere right now. Redline products take more effort to source.

Ok then. My driveway can accommodate 6-8 cars and plenty of overflow room at neighbors and the street. Maybe we can do a Jersey style stooge fest!

Oh yes. 348s will be allowed !

    Hi Mitch,

I greatly appreciate you taking the time to post these!

I assume you can get the rear points without taking the pans off?

I first looked from my phone....now at my PC and it looks like the rear point would require the pan off - I'm I missing something Mitch?

We put the car on those pucks, jacked it up, then we take the pans off. So no, the pans do not need to be off first.
