Chaps, I just launched into a spin in my TR6 into Salisbury in the UK, and going through the town centre going in the opposite direction was a lovely red 308 GTB, followed no less by the rozzers who have clearly f$%^ all to do except probably stop him and waste 20 minutes... I am asking if the driver is an FChatter....was it you I saw....!!!?? I think the reg plate was 3 letters and 3 numbers - TXI ??? It would be nice to know there are other F fans Salisbury region. Used to fly fast jets at Boscombe and saw a Rosso GTB a few times while putting down a pint or two in town...nice car if it's the same. Would do anything to drive one around Wilts! Ciao!
He he, we'll I can tell you it certainly livens a boring day in the tree covered areas and green pasture giving my TR6 full chat and the 400 a belt down the road... I was only in Amesbury today passing through to Larkhill where my best buddy runs a small car sales business.. Good day to you!! Salisbury and local area...about 4 degrees C, not pleasant for roof down driving today... ;-))
Jeez, they're probably just travelling in the same direction. I'm sure the sight of a 308 in Wiltshire won't require any special reports. Not a particularly encouraging comment from someone who lists their occupation as "HM Government"...
Why not just join the FOC if you want to meet local Ferrari owners? My local group are a good bunch and I'd recommend it.
