Ferrari LaFerrari vs Mclaren P1 vs Porsche 918

Huh? Wait until journalists get their hands on a LaFerrari/P1/918 for independently verified times/figures. Are you expecting to see video proof of 0-60 times?

 

Will McLaren allow the P1's performance figures to be tested? Or will they be concerned over the poor drivers safety?

 

i'm not anti-ferrari. just drove my FF all day today. and the f12 was ripping this weekend...its just that the 12c puts them all in the shade....

and lala ferrari is butt ugly. and they havent released it yet???

im just looking for an answer: where is la ferrari?

In this day and age of instant twitter'ing, etc, themost impressive thing about the car is how Ferrari have managed to keep it away from anyone who would dare to write about it!

There do appear to be some cars with private plates in different parts of Europe. I'm not trying to keep track, but it would seem to be less than 10 so far.

According to one US dealer they are still struggling with the integration of their battery technology, hence the delay, so it is difficult to reconcile how/why a handful of LaFerraris appear to have been delivered and other customers are either not being kept well informed or have been told to expect much later delivery.

Marchettino has confirmed that the car he filmed with the Silver Enzo is privately owned. This makes it difficult to reconcile why other orders have been delayed.

More or less yes. But I don't claim anything in terms of performance differences between the cars or anything else about the quality about the P1. I don't like the car, mostly because I don't like how it looks and because I don't like McLaren. That's all. Perfectly feasable that the P1 turns out to be a quicker car than the 918 and La Ferrari. Doesn't concern me much. None of these cars will ever be in my garage.

You can rest assured that the LF will be weighed and the actual figure will be published.

I don't take any manufacturers claims as fact until they are independently tested and proved. Have you ever heard me talk about the LF performance figures as stated by Ferrari? I don't believe everything I read on the internet. Do you?

I just think skipping the stiffer race mode w/fully raised rear wing may produced better quarter times and trap speeds.

All of my previous posts are there to see. Never once doubted the P1's performance. Only thing I've doubted is their Nurburgring lap time. Any chance of that being published?
