    Hello,

I am in total confusion and needs a real help, let me start with my current stable:

    2010 Murcielago SV
    2013 Aston Martin Vanquish
    2013 Aventador
    2013 Bentley GT speed
    2013 Mercedes G63
    2014 Range Rover Vogue autobiography

My confusion is between going for:

2014 Rosso Corsa Ferrari 458 Spider (delivery now)
    OR
2014 Rosso Corsa Ferrari Speciale with NART livery (delivery in 40 days)

Appreciate your immediate response as I have to put a downpayment for the speciale by Sunday or just buy the spider.

    Regards,

Well, depends on what you want...
From your list I guess you don't have a convertible - so go for the Spider. But maybe you don't want a convertible - go for the Speciale.
I also see you don't have track-car - so go for the Speciale. But maybe...

The only one to answer your question is you ;)

    Spot on, Andy!

Irrespective of his current fleet, the OP only needs to decide whether he wants a convertible 458 or a more noisy, pure, slightly quicker, more track-focused version of the 458. That shouldn't be that difficult. If it is, he obviously hasn't decided yet what he wants and shouldn't buy either. Or both, because he probably) can (judging his current stable).

I see that you do not have a porsche in your stable. How about a GT3?

Between these two 458 options I would pick the speciale. The spider will suffer from cowl shake and also some say the spider has been deliberately softened as compared to the coupe.

Ok let me tell my criteria,

    Looks comes first
I do not go for tracks

I hope this makes it easy for you as it is not for me.

Nothing is more personal that looks. Some prefer the cleaner looks of the Italia, others prefer the meaner looks of a Speciale.

I'm really sorry, but if looks come first for you, what outcome do you expect from posting this question? And how could that possibly help you?

But I'll bite: if you don't track and will mostly go for the looks, buy the Spider. But I bought the Speciale...

what are you looking for out of the car? every day use? track use? convertible vs coupe? luxurious interior? the two cars are quite different when you get into the details... are you looking to resell relatively soon? etc. etc. etc...

I say 2014 Rosso Corsa Speciale with stripe.

Convertibles are not really fun if you reside in any of the major cities, Riyadh, Jeddah, or Dammam.

If it's purely looks, I think the Spider is prettier (I'm biased of course).

Looking at your stable, the Avy and Speed already offer the blend of performance and practicality so adding the Speciale as a more hard-core driving experience may be the way to go.

I want to add couple of points:

I used to have am italia and sold it to buy e aventador
I wanted a convertible car but the weather in Jeddah gets better few times a year
    No racing circuit here
Speciale I like the outside looks but inside it's stripped out (they told me to spec my car and gets a 2015 on August) but again cannot spec it to make it close to normal italia
Spider is very nice from rear view but front I guess it's dated.
Replacement is due end of next year so if I want to replace my car in two years!?

    Buy both.

Look and drive them, sell the one which you don't like.
