Yup - I misread the Cable Channel search - 1:00 AM, 5:00 AM. And NBCsports is probably still wondering why "Americans do not watch Formula One"!!!
Okay, here is the low down. Does anyone that has dish network coming to the F1 watching party? That is the only company I have found that will let you access the DVR without a coax signal. Hence: recording the race then unplugging the box and bringing it to the back 9!! Can anyone help out?
Or you need someone with one of these: Watch Recorded TV Shows on Mobile with DIRECTV GenieGO - DIRECTV
OK - here is the latest on the race party: I have just verified with the Back 9 that they can play a DVD recording made on my system - so I will record the race Saturday night at 1:00 AM and bring a disk up to the Back 9 for us to view. The party is still at 1:00 PM on Sunday afternoon (the 16th) and they will have cones out for us on the front row. We really want to invite all the fans out there for this race - it should be exciting, as it is the first of the season, and the first try with the V6 turbos etc. Hope to see everyone there!
Do we know how many parking spaces will be available for the F1 group? Is everyone showing up around 12:30 ish?? Thanks.
They will have plenty of parking - I would guess enough for 25-30 cars. Yup - 12:30 would be good, I will have them start the prerace at 12:30 so the start will come up at 1:00. Remember - this is the Back 9 at 4060 Beltline Rd., Addison - 1:00 PM Sunday afternoon the 16th.
They're great appliances. I'd never own one. I put 2000 miles on it in 8 days for a nominal price. No sense being that hard on my own cars! I just drove it 250 miles through a deluge that would've impressed Noah. Still don't want one. Are there any ribs left?
Jim, You would be amazed how much cooler minivan looks with a Ferrari parked next to it in the garage. Case in point... was working on the 360 in the garage with my wife's 2005 minivan parked next to it. Neighbor comes up to the garage and asks (and I quote)..."Did you guys get a new van?" Ken
Unfortunately Friday one of the service trucks developed brake problems. In the process of replacing front disc pads I noticed that the lower ball joints were worn so I will probably not make the party as I will be immersed in Mazda suspension components.
You won't be the only one working on there car. I am sure some f1 teams will be doing the same thing.
Whose bringing their Fcars. Weather is cold and windy, but does not look like rain. Will probably bring the 360.
