My New Ride - 2007 F430

Buying a 2009 Maserati Grandturismo S after selling my F355GTB was a sad mistake that cost me mucho when I traded it in for my F430 after owning it for only a year and a bit. It's no substitute for a Ferrari-just an Italian version of a Benz with headaches. Now I'm back!
After looking for about three months, finally found exactly waht we wanted - A red coupe with black interior at Scottsdale Ferrari. We negotiated an agreed price with a deposit and then my wife and I flew down to do the test drive and final inspection and had Ric's Body and Paint check the car over for body damage (none). This was the best experience we've ever had with a car dealership. Also Ric's was very professional and refused to accept any payment for the inspection. All my questions were answered before negotiating and the followup right to getting it on a transport was orchestrated perfectly. Everyone treated us with the utmost courtesy. The car arrived in perfect condition and with a full tank of gas! Happy? No. Ecstatic!

Thanks to all of you for your congrats. To answer some of the questions:
1. Why I was unhappy with my Maserati Granturismo S (4.7 with ZF Auto+paddles) ? Seats were not comfortable for my short stature of 5'6.5" and my wife's 5'2". did a couple of autocross but it just doesn't have the sporty feel. Lots of torque. My better half didn't feel like driving it-felt too bulky. My only enjoyment was adding sport exhaust on demand with vacuum solenoid valves and a switch. That was sweet around town.

2. BTW, Spieler, why did you trade in your 2012 Maser for a 360??

4. I just had the DRL's done to get it through inspection. and now it's restless in my garage waiting for final insurance docs and the sun. So haven't given it a rip yet.

5. Bowtye8 - Don't wait too long for your F430 if you want a Berlinetta. I just love the lines of the coupe. We don't get enough nice weather to justify a spider. I like to drive my ride all year. No garage queen for me!
