    Very cool!

    I almost tried something similar in the '80s in the NHRA. A driver local to me is a legend - one of the all-time winning drivers in the "Sportsman" ranks. I had no experience, I was 18, and was going to walk to his pit and ask for a job.

    Needless to say, I got cold feet. Probably a good thing too, because that life is far more difficult than it is glamorous.
