so I did a search of the forums and found references to speed bleeders (some of my own) but can't seem to find the size of the thread for 348 calipers.

    Anyone know it?

Here's link to SB site for sizing.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the bleeder shots.
    Here's the other question...

It appears there are 2 versions of calipers.. Teves and Brembo. Thoughts on how to tell the difference?

Checked with Ricambi --- while they have the OEM bleeders they don't know the sizing.

Should be - if you look at my pic further up Ive swapped the brake hose into the bleeder hole and the bleeder into the brake hole so they are the same

Just thinking...buy 5 rather than 4 and fit one to your clutch bleeder on the bell housing.

NB you should always bleed your clutch after bleeding brakes as they share the same fluid reservoir so it would be a shame to speed bleed your calipers only to have to revert to doing the final one the old way.

As a guess its the same size

Thanks for the tip... bleeding clutch the same process as the brakes?
turn key to activate abs pump and then pump the clutch?

i'll have to pull a wheel and see what caliper I have on the car.

As far as I know you dont need to to have the ABS activated for clutch bleeding - that's just the brakes.

If you look at the bottom of this thread covering when I replaced the throwout bearing it shows how I did it.

Clutch Slave Cylinder Release/Throwout Bearing Replacement incl. Triple Seals

BTW ou dont need to remove a wheel to see the caliper markings - you can see it from the back of the car if you use a torch

    Excellent :)

These will be the sam for the ATE as well then as there is no difference in the Ferrari parts catalogue for bleeders between years and calipers.

If you could pop up a couple of pics of them for interest that would be great. :)

I'd pull mine out but I'm afraid how much it will leak. ..I'd guess a 12 mm or maybe 14mm
