The problem I am having is only with the "Degree deodorant" non-sponsored ad. All others non-sponsored ads load fine. Pages which do not display that specific ad load fine. I have tried several different browsers and different version of the same browser. Same result. Several different PCs. Same result. It's the ad. If you want to blame it on something else that's fine.

Somewhat calming to know that I am not the only one exposed to the nuisance.

Hopefully Rob & Co. will get rid of this. I mean, it redirects to the same damn game every time!

I've never experienced any of the redirect problems described here on FerrariChat. Here's what I use:

    PC

    -IE 11
-Google Chrome w/ AdBlock, Flash Block and Personal Blocklist
-Firefox 28 w/ AdBlock Plus, Flashblock and NoScript

    Android 4.1.2
    -Android Browser 4.1.2-5 (no Tapatalk)

On all; JavaScript enabled (except FF) and pop ups blocked.

However, the info below might be of some help.

From January 2014 for iOS and Android:

Thanks for the great info. Shady marketing for sure.

Interestingly, the non-sponsored Degree deoderant ad which was causing the problem seems to have disappeared, taking the problem with it.

I have no problem and never had. I leave my PC on 24/7 with everything open including chrome with all my tabs (of course Fchat).

Windows 7 with Chrome and Firefox
Windows 8 and 8.1 with same browsers
iPad something with Safari and Chrome

The only possible use for IE11 is to download firefox or chrome. Download either and never use IE again. It's slow and dreadfully user unfriendly, no good for anything.

I haven't heard a response from ad network with problem last time. I thought it was fixed 6-8 weeks ago when we had the problem, but sounds like it is back. problem is I use a few networks and sometimes hard to find out which one and which ad, I think even Google can serve some unwanted ads like this now and then. They almost expect you to be responsible to block each one as it becomes a problem. Most users may get it and not report and chances that I will be browsing on a mobile device when one comes up is rare. far as I know not a single configuration to say "no app store redirects".

I don't recall exactly, Rob. Just that they (it) was for Degree Deodorant. I can not remember if there were two different ones or just one. But certainly one particular ad was most common. As I said, in any even, it has not reappeared.
