F12 or FF?

    I'm more interested on getting better control and reaction, more a "you have 600+ bhp, don't drive it like a Prius!" training. Even if the electronic probability makes it a easy as an average 200bhp rear wheel drive was 10-15 years ago.
    But still Ferrari being 3-4x AMG price is hard to justify (and will be compared to holidays cost by my other half...)

    For this you could do any of the programs and get the training. I've done a few of the BMW and Mercedes programs and the biggest difference Ferrari gives is there is a little more seat time in the Ferrari program. If you are looking for the best value then Skip Barber or one of those probably qualifies. The basic techniques and skills you learn will apply to any car. To me the biggest reason to do the Ferrari program is to be able to experience what your car can do on the track. If that really doesn't matter or if it just doesn't seem cost justified then the other programs seem to be well run and I think will get you up to speed. If you've never driven on a track before you might be surprised how much performance most street cars (never mind Ferraris) have.
