Legendary motorcar has one that lives at their showroom. Give them a call amd see if you can go by and see it.

Thanks! I will give them a call. Is that the same one I saw years back on their TV show?

    Probably Yes...

You could also visit Ferrari of Ontario. It is located about 1/2 hour north of Toronto. (and north east from the Airport). They probably have a 288 GTO, and other great Ferrari's on display upstairs in their showrooom. I don't know if you will be allowed entry up there, but it wouldn't hurt to pop over and check it out if you have the time.

Thanks and that was my first stop but maybe my VW rental car was at fault. They would not entertain a walk around of the 288 they had up stairs. Hopefully LMC will be open to an enthusiast taking a look at the one they have.

LMC showroom is open to walk around. If the car is on the floor you'll be able to look at it. There is a lot of cars to look at.

LOL.. lets not get started on that. Some sales people leave alot to be desired.

If you are regular folk like us, the only way to see the 'exclusive' top floor of Ferrari Ontario is to literally climb up the outside of the building and latch onto the window. :D

I guess you didn't see the Zonda R on the main floor? Or maybe its not there anymore.

Best to keep the VW parked across the street when going to LMC or FOO. haha..

Whats the story on the Zonda R? Who is the owner? Does it just sit inside LMC showroom collecting dust at all times?

I wonder if it is ever brought to shows, Marque's Delegance, possibly Italian Car Day???

Why doesn't anyone try and contact the owner and get him to display the car once in a while if possible.

Not really. I've heard it's been driven on track once or twice.

When it first came home to Canada after doing some of the big us concours I remember hearing the owner and peter from lmc both had a go in it on track. Don't recall what track. Such a shame to just let it sit. But then again it's the only zonda in canada so the fact it's on display for everyone to see at lmc is really great. Better it sit in public view then hidden away for the owner to only enjoy(looking at cuz he isn't driving it). Maybe the owner though he would get a serious offers after showing it a few times in the us?

Nope. Apparently there was an F40 and an Enzo in the service bay while I was there as well but I didn't know it at the time, so no shots of them, unfortunately!

In other news, a McLaren P1 rolled into the showroom across the street yesterday. Proper photos of that coming soon!

So I spotted something very impressive in my rear-view mirror earlier today...

    A Diablo VT 6.0!

I couldn't get a photo as my camera was in the back seat but wow, do these look good on the road mixed in with normal traffic or what?!

    I love Diablos!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I came across a dark blue SLS AMG on the way home. Pretty nice.

If any of you are buzzing the area ferrari of Ontario has all the supercars. 288, F40, F50, Enzo. I was just there today picking up parts. Very cool!! I snapped a pic of the F50. I would post it, but not sure how to do it from my iPhone, or even if you can.
