Revive the 355, spring start up.

Earlier today I posted over in the 308 forum that I revived my 85 308 QV for the 29th year without a hitch. Reconnected the battery, got in, turned the key and she started right up for the start of her 30th season under my ownership.

Just this afternoon it was the 355's turn. Again, like the 308, I do nothing special for winter storage. Pull it into the garage, shut it off, disconnect the battery, and forget about it. Since I have read about the abs or air bag ECU being popped by a low battery I did take the precaution of connecting the trickle charger. No problem. It indicated that the battery held its charge all winter. being my first revival of the 355 I was a little apprehensive. I turned the battery switch on, got in and cranked her over. Like the 308, it immediately burbled back to life after being in hibernation for the last 6 months. No CELs, nothing. Let here run for 10 minutes to relearn the ECU and get hot. Popped the throttle a few time. Pulled her back into the garage. after a time I checked for leaks. None that were immediately visible. I guess she's ready for the new season. I certainly am.
