The only 225/40 18" in michelin super sports i can find have a weight number of 88 and speed rating Z....they should be 92Y i think

Is this ok for front of my 355?

ONly if the same tires are on the back.

In a high performance sports car: there are only 2 options when replacing tires:

    1) Replace both tires on one axel with the same make and model of tires as on the other axel with sizes appropriate for the original axel,
    OR
    2) Replace all 4 tires.

So, in your case, i you have michelin super sports on the rear, then yes, you can put those on the front.

Sorry to steal this subject, but does any 348 owners using 355 rims have experience whether to use 265/35 or 265/40 tires?

    ....and Mitch...what's the difference between 225/40 18" 92Y and 225/40 18" 88Z?
