Give in, give in...... the Force is too strong.....!!!LOL You'll only have yourself to blame. I'm gonna sell 'em to neighborhood kids, to terrorize 34-1/2 Street! It'll be worth it just to watch 'em spin donuts in the Hare Krishna Temple parking lot! Yee ha! Plus the charity is gonna kick the money out of the side of my head, if I can't come through! Need to preserve my cred, to run in 2004! Test drives available after dark! You should see the fire, out the straight pipes.
out of curiosity, how much are these things????? EDIT: oops, just saw that it is best offer so i'll pose the question as, what is a reasonable offer for one of these?
Best offer!!! Mine are used. I've seen 'em retail for about $1000. Did you note that the sale will look like a donation to CA??? I had a deal at $700 that fell thru. Come see one and make an offer. Let me know, they are in storage right now but I can get one cleaned up with a days notice. Make great wall hangers! Thrill the kids in your neighborhood! Support Child Advocates, a very worthwhile cause.
The one I crashed in Lousiana is in the body shop. They can be plastic welded no problem. It's a chain drive. I have two belt drives and one chain over at my company's storage yard. My office is at TC Jester and 43rd St. (NW Houston, outside Loop 610) Shall I get one out and oil it up??????
i'll send you a PM if i decide to come look - paulc is checking with a friend to see if we can store and drive it at his friend's empty storage facility. i live inside the loop so driving it thru the 'hood would be suicidal... i hardly feel safe in a car
I can recommend a Jersey Village religious institution, that's used to seeing 'em zipping around, after hours!
Darn right! Have I ever NOT given you credit??????? "Action photos by Will H." Photog' to the stars! TestShoot, eat you're heart out! Plus, he's good in the pits!
I'm trying to figure out how much $$$ I could make my wife swallow. And where I'd drive it. And how I'd haul. And where I'd park it. Other than that, I want one!
The belt drive is no longer manufactured, but I have BIG inventory of belts and spare clutches..... It's smoother, like on a Harley!
Top! NO ONE??????? I'll think of all of you, as I fall over them in the dark! I'm trying to get to the SPEED BOAT! Maybe I'll sell 'em at "Wheels and Keels" (Sigh) Doesn't anyone need a wall hanger for a Bar somewhere????
