    Thats impressive!

I only collect older handbuilts, because nothing beats a handmade item. Nowadays its to easy to make a perfect modell, but the art of making things without computeraid is dying.

Agree, just that I would also add old industrial models (Politoys, Mebetoys, Dinky and all... everything before computer era). IMHO old models are like pictures, artistic interpretation of a car, whilst new one are like photographies - can be art, perhaps, but generally are just reproductions.

To some extent it goes with scale - I prefer smaller ones where there is need for certain artistic interpretation of a car, putting emphasis on just the main, distinctive features, to paint a 3D portrait of a vehicle. While big ones like 1/18 generally leave me cold, I'm not looking to precise reproduction of each detail but to artistic interpretation of the essence.

Not to say that I'm fully avoiding new computer generated ones, just I prefer the old ones.

I have the RGM set and several BBR F40s - I agree that the BBRs age better than the Make-Ups. The Make-Ups are too new/clean for me.

The older handbuilts are the best for me, recently BBR released some great classic Ferrari's, but the early Styling series are better..

I had one of those sets many years ago. Did you buy that one from RGM, or from me, here in the US. I can't remember which set I had but I think it could have been #3/10. Or maybe it was #5. Anyway, nice to see such a rare set.

Mine came from the UK, around 2 years ago, thats all I know.

This is something new (and old)
Nestor drogo SWB Kerrison, very wellmade modell.

2 GTO 64's both by AMR, the LM is built by Lex Rijsdijk, one of the best dutch builders, the Targa Florio version is from France
