Before i break something... How do i remove the rear carpet in the car? (Behif the seats) thankfull for all help, // Fredrik
First, are you removing the carpet for replacement? If so, and you are not using the OEM fiberglass-molded carpeting, I would highly recommend letting an upholstery shop do the job. It is very difficult to get the carpet trimmed to the exact size and to get it to lay perfectly flat. To the best of my knowledge, there are NO aftermarket suppliers of full F355 carpet sets, which is unfortunate. If you insist on doing the job yourself (NOTE: I have not actually done this), I would start by removing all trim pieces. Below is an exploded parts diagram for the area. You can see there are several studs with washers/nuts (i.e., Nos. 20 & 22) which, I believe, are accessed through the engine compartment firewall. Continue removing all trim pieces and them carefully and gently start to pull the carpet away from the underlying insulation. That's really all the help I can provide. If you are going to replace just the rear carpet, remember that it will be extremely difficult to color-match it to the remaining floor carpet. Good luck. Image Unavailable, Please Login
