Thanks for the kind words and encouragement Rob. Hopefully I will be able to run the engine before her 1st Bday
Detail on the new Fuel Injectors wiring. The original setup hides all the cables inside a metal tube on the top center of the V12. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would prefer the injector electrical wires are kept clear of the fuel rails , a remote but possible chance of a fuel fire if there's a break down of the electrical cable insulation then putting current into the fuel rail.
Taffy , I can see what Indra wants to achieve , separating the two looms for troubleshooting in the future which is a good idea. I suggest running two tubes down either side of the mounting bolts but a few centimeters away from the fuel rail for easier removal of the connectors
could i/we get a little more info on the wiring, the wires are all the same colors ?,are they coded or printed as to where they go?,how would you trace a problem?,what am i missing?i work on automotive wiring every day and color coding is a great help
I'll check with the tech , normally these used aircraft wires have specific wire codes printed on them at regular spacing (15 to 30 cm) when going into an aircraft so they're easy to trace. The tech has to draw up a new wiring diagram for the LM as part of the project with cross referencing to the wire numbering. Other methods are colored and or numbered ID rings over the wire. You can see some printing on the wires in the photo below , it's a mix of ID of the generic wire type and a specific code for that wire in the aircraft systems. In service the aircraft wiring itself rarely gives problems, the source is usually the connectors. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have enjoyed follow your work! I did not think it would be worthwhile to post my color question in a new thread, so I hope you don't mind me asking it here: I have seen the Forrtune of Moscow LM002 pictures and wonder if that is a factory color. If so, what is it called? Thanks

Hearing the V12 roar back to life on Saturday will cheer you up , looks like the boys will be on target.
I look forward to seeing the video Taffy. Hope you taking one mate. Good luck on the first start up! Rob

Engine start postponed till next Saturday. They found some wrong wiring two days ago and fixing it takes 3 days. I don't mind the slow pace as long as it is perfect
