Looks like my motor mounts need replacing.

I usually prefer ordering from Ricambi. It's my go-to place for any part and it's priced pretty much like every other supplier at about 170$ each.

However, superformance has them for about 75$US. It's quite a price difference, has anyone ordered them? Are they lesser quality, different?

Part number is 162769 and I haven't found any interchangeable solution or anything else by searching.

    What to do????

Eurospares has them too at 45 pounds each (about $76 at current exchange rates). I bought a pair a few months ago and they looked fine. I assumed they were genuine Ferrari but maybe not. Now that you mention it, they could have been aftermarket. They're on the car now but I am experiencing a strange sensation when I shift during moderate acceleration. The car lerches laterally slightly. Nothing serious or major. Just enough to notice. Sort of like the engine torque is affecting the feel as a twitch in the steering. I plan to check the mounts again to make sure everything is as it should be. It feels something like what I would guess would happen if the engine torque could slightly lift the mount on one side as you let off the gas at each shift, the rotational inertia being felt in the steering. If I find a problem, I'll report back. The car is undergoing some upholstery work right now so it will be a while.

I've not seen any myself but from the pictures I've seen, they look pretty simple. Let us know how it goes..

Yes they do, I was thinking a two (2) piece sandwich design where you can replace the cushion with any material you like given the requirement and to lesson heat soaking

I'll try that.....perhaps it will be less hassle than ordering online, paying shipping, duties, brokerage, etc...

But I am curious about the Superformance UK ones still...I'll shoot them an email.

Does Superformance UK sell any OEM Ferrari parts? IIRC, Maranello Concessionaires have the monopoly on Ferrari parts distribution world-wide.

I believe the 360 mounts fit and are a better design. I put 355 challenge mounts in mine when it came time to change as they were the same price, but somebody on here did me one better and found that the 360 mounts fit.

I like the challenge mounts, or I might even be inclined if it were my personal car to go to a more solid design. I drove a 308 that was well prepped but had nearly solid mounts and it was like driving an F50 in terms of a solid feel. I really liked it, but they were a custom job which I fully expect a 355 mount to be, but that would be a permanent fix too. Just saying

Hi Guys. Just fitted the superformance mounts. I ordered like 3800 pounds worth of parts from them and very pleased with what i got and the responce time of emails and shipping. Im in australia and was pleased with their excellent service. The mounts look and fit as original. Just a positive review of a firm i will be dealing with again.
