    OK GUYS.. as you all predicted...its on the Block!
    Here it is , Built by a Celebrity CEO in California in 2009/ 2010 at cost no object.
    Titled as a 1965 Kirkham Cobra. Pictures say it all.
    This is an exceptionally fine build with all Aluminum Body.
    This is a 427 Cobra Semi Competition to the T...
    Built above CSX continuation Shelby car standards by the builder of Shelby Continuation cars
    Over $180,000.00 to build this car today and a + or - 1 year wait.
    FE Specialties 427 Ford Shelby all aluminum Engine, stroked to 462 Cubic inches
    Polished aluminum body and brushed Aluminum stripes are a $15,000.00 option.
    all other options by Kirkham.
    All paperwork in my hand , car just turned 2000 miles.
    quarter mile in 10.75 . zero to 60 in 2.8 power to weight ratio above a superbike.
    5 speed tremec gearbox. aluminum suspension, 42 gallon fuel tank.
    Fire supression system on board.
    Dyno chart reads 620 HP / 640 ft lb trq. in a 2200 lb body / chassis.
    The most outrageous car ever made in terms of presence , mild cam at idle sounds Wicked through stainless steel side pipes.

    Here is a comparable on E bay now..
    Not as nice a build
    this is what a kirkham on a budget looks like.
    for $160,000.00

    no Stainless, no polished body, black roll bar and pipes etc..
    Not a happy looking car..

    Stunning piece of automotive art, a lot of car for the money too....
    ....and better quality of bodywork then any original Cobra (thanks to Polish craftsmen at former MIG factory who built that thing)

    Michael, is that the Lawrence Ellison car? I assume it is.

    I hope you get your price but the prices are really all over the map and often come up on cobra country for very reasonable prices. I personally don't know why anyone would sell a car like this? what can you buy that is cooler? what can you buy that's faster?

    answer: nothing save for a lola t-70 mk III B.

    that is a 289 fia...quite different and quite a rare version of a Kirkham.

    by no means is this a budget 289 fia.
