My OEM car cover is looking a little tired. Anyone ever wash one without harm?

I have washed mine couple times with no problems. I used a regular detergent and a large capacity washer. I do not remember 100% now, but I believe I air dried it. I try not to wash it too much as I'm a bit afraid the horse on the front will start getting cracks, but so far so good.

Use woollite rinse at least two times and air dry. I've washed mine two times and it turned out perfect. PS it will fit in a regular washer.

Good advice here, especially to keep dust/dirt/grit off the INSIDE surface of the cover, which could potentially mark up your paint. I'm gonna wash mine before I use it again for the next winter.
FWIW, I tend to drive my car pretty frequently, so I don't cover it during the "driving season." I would especially not cover the car if the car were not clean / detailed first.

If use a commercial washer, I recommend running the washing machine through its washing cycles without any soap and the car cover. I found most commercial machines have built up soap within the washing mechanicals; that is why the glass site glass always seem to have way too much suds while washing clothes.

I've had mine drycleaned, I don't have the nerve to put it in a washing machine...seems a bit fragile for that, but that's just me. :)

I've washed mine once a year. I usually put mine in the washer one the delicate cycle using cold water and some Simple Green as the detergent. I then throw it in the dryer and just use the air dry which just tosses it around without any heat...
