    Hi

A friend in CAlifornia needs a front pair of shocks for the QPIII. They could go for the Ohlins system we have specced in the UK but is their a local solution?

Not the MIE or Maseratisource units as they raise the front ride height too much.

    Let me know.

As far as I know there are:

    1. OEM from Campana
    2. MIE after market
    3. Öhlins custom

Note that the Öhlins I'm testing out are still not final, and we'll probably need a stiffer spring rating than what I'm currently running (250lb/in). Based on the tests we've done, I think 275 or 300lb/in will be perfect for US spec cars. Still waiting to verify this with the shop.

They are very nice otherwise, completely rebuildable and ride height/damper stiffness are both adjustable, the latter with the damper on the car by simply turning an adjustment knob. All in all a worthwhile upgrade.
