    360 modena stick

when speed is high, I can't shift to 6th gear unless I double clutch.
no problem when its like under 80mph

is this normal or I have some sort of a problem?

Same on my 430. Not quite sure how you'll fix it given the dealer is unlikely to be able to replicate it ;)

When I had my stick 360 this never happened. Something is wrong . Those models had trouble with the transmission hold down brackets breaking. They the same shift but let roff on the throttle before you shift.
If that helps than that ccould be the problem.

    Good luck

Dealer told me a simple adjustment of the shift linkages will cure it, just not easy to test.

I had the same problem. The Hill shift bushing and a slight adjustment on the cables fixed it up.

I was going to ask if the original poster had the Hill Engineering shift bushing. First thing I would try.

Hope you get this checked out and fixed. There should be no problems shifting gears smoothly, no matter the speed.

Have the same problem on my 360 except its with 2nd. Under "normal driving" no problem but under hard acceleration yes.

I have bought the hills engineering part, think it was like 70 buck from Ricambi, and in either case it will be money well spent switching metal for plastic. Having that installed and the shifter cables adjusted when I come back stateside. In fact already have the appointment made. Confident that one of the two is the issue.

I've heard that it also depends on if the car is "warm" or not.

2nd gear will be tough to get into when the car is cold. Don't ever force it, just shift the third. Should be fine after 3 mins of driving though. Think this is even in the owners manual.

Never had any issue getting into sixth under any circumstance.

Does anyone know how I can check if my car has the hill engineering bushing or not? I would assume so as I'm in the UK and my car has 60k+ on the clock.

Does it have anything to do with rpm? At high rpm the clutch just don't disengage require another pump of the pedal

The bushing that the spring rests on, on the shift lever.. you could try tapping it and see if it's metal. best way is to remove the shift gate and open it up. I just replaced mine last weekend and it takes about an hour or two. Mine had the old plastic with a hairline crack. I'm surprised how firm the stick feels now...
