I been looking through the workshop manual and maybe I missed it. Saw set the tensioner gap to 2.5 mm. Does Ferrari or anybody specify a sonic frequency for setting the 355 timing belt tension? Does it get checked on what span? Are span reading acumulative to the specified frequency? Not sure of Ferrari protocols due to cam position etc. Any thought suggestions greatly appreciated
Set the gap and be happy. It's either the gap or the frequency as a spec. Gap for us poor folks, and freq for ones with the expensive tool.
LOL yea I forgot I have the tool until my partner asked for it to align and set the belt tension on one of the bikes. We have the laser alignment tool also if you ever are in need BTW I am really poor from buying tools Image Unavailable, Please Login
