    wtf?

You have a Bentley Turbo R. You want folks to believe you have a RR Phantom. Boggles the mind.

Yes I know it's a replica, but it's an "extremely well built"one, well worth the $20K they are asking. Why spend $35K on one when you could spend $20K on this and fool everyone in the process?

Plus it only being 4 cylinder you'll save on gas!

I have to admire the effort and dedication involved, but I can't help feeling it is ultimately a bit futile, like trying to replicate the Mona Lisa using an etch-a-sketch......../-:

    Any takers?

Definetly a weird finishing choice. I am not against wrapping or matte finishes but doing it gray just doesn't look right, it looks like it's primed waiting to be painted.

Perhaps a very dark charcoal grey could look good.

So much effort seems to have been placed on that car to make it look real and it does, why not paint it Ferrari Red?

Always thought the MR2 turbo looked good as a MR2 turbo.

I think the fact that people are actually stupid enough to pay money for these things is one of the reasons extraterrestrials don't make contact with us.

They look like something the owner (or whoever fitted them) salvaged from an episode of Scrapheap Challenge.

Those are just roller wheels and tires, suitable only for very short distances... see the ad.

They sold the original wheels and tires.

Car also has a salvage title.

Yeah, obviously the result of under funding. Even replicas of these cars cost a fortune to produce.

Sad on his behalf with regards to the fact he cannot finish the project. I think it will be hard to find a buyer who will buy it from him at a fair price.

It has a factory subwoofer, so that's got to be worth something! Is it trail rated?

Building this because the real 348 costs so much? Whatever the reason this clone is not that bad compared to others. At least the body appears somewhat finished even though the ferrari logo between the gauges is so bloody awkward.. figure 8 car please!

A bid of almost $19K didn't meet the reserve? Both bidder and seller are a little off...
