I am starting a new thread to discuss the drive next Sunday.

I think that Byron is going to send out an email with the details.

We will be stopping in Monticeto or thereabouts to pick up Marty and hopefully his wife Faye. Rob Garven also wants us to stop by his place in Ventura to visit his Ferrari Shrine. I have seen a part of it and let me tell you it is worth the stop.

The rest of the route is being determined.

Please post here and contact Byron or JL if you are planning on going.

This was one of our best drives last year so don't miss it next Sunday.

The LuxoRocket and myself will be there.

The Yard House drive was a blast so I am counting on more drives, and Michelin will now have an extra revenue stream funneling out of my wallet.

    LOL

I'll keep Tim's passenger seat warm and take pics of the day. A first in 8 months. Besides, my tires are rubbed to slicks in the rear, its better I stay out of harms way lest we find ourselves on a "race track" again. :D

I'm definitely interested, but will be returning Sunday AM from a night in Vegas. What time does the drive start?

Uh, would like to have made it if it was on a Saturday...that way I could overnight in SB and then drive home...

Why are these drives always on Sunday (just curious)?

Sunday is usually the day there are less pressing matters (errands, honey-do's, etc). Marty, Art, and Bob agreed on the 7th and the rest of us tagged along. We had the launch party on a Sat and a drive to Vegas! Of course, there were at least 9 other major events last year taking place on Sun. *cough* I think the FCA/FOC Ortega Run happened on a Sat? I can't find my full size panoramic pic.. too many pics...

Would a non-Fcar be welcome? My Fcar is still in the shop. :(

I would be interested in tagging along if my Snake gets the alignment done. I'll see if I can get a kitchen pass. Please send me the agenda. The earlier the better, because Sunday traffic to Santa Barbara stinks (both coming and going). Are you trying to do brunch up in SB?

    Hey Jordan-
Better hurry up and meet up-I'm getting long in tooth!(and Callahan thought I was dead already!)
Once you guys decide on the eta at Montecito,I'll work out a pickup time with Art Chambers at the a/port on the way north on 101.
Faye is ecstatic not participating and giving up her seat to Art since she feels we ,or rather you guys drive to fast.

    FDC PRESENTS:

    Santa Barbara Run
    Sunday, March 7, 2004

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Enzo Run on Feb. 8th!!
The event was hugely successful – thanks for bringing out your beautiful cars!
In the usual FDC tradition, we are gearing up for yet another spirited run…
We are going to Santa Barbara/Montecito for some lunch and for those interested, up
to the Buellton/Solvang area for some exciting roads!

We will be meeting in Thousand Oaks in the parking lot on the corner of
Moorpark and Hillcrest (from LA, go on 405N to 101 towards Ventura, exit
Moorpark and turn right – head 0.5 miles north on Moorpark). We will be driving up to
Montecito to meet with our special out of town guest and heading directly to the restaurant.

Meeting time in Thousand Oaks: 10:00am
LA. Caravan Meeting time 9 :00: RSVP with Jean-Louis, [email protected] for location point.
OC Caravan Meeting time 8:00: RSVP with Byron, [email protected] for location point.
    (RSVP immediately)

Please note: There is no cost for the drive, but each of you will be
responsible for your own lunch costs (plus tax/tip). We will be dining at
a casual restaurant in the Santa Barbara area.
Please be sure to RSVP to either the LA or OC Caravan so that we can get an accurate headcount.

All exotics are welcome, but if you are inviting your friends, please make sure you
    RSVP for them as well.

    Thanks!
    - FDC
