    I'll start.

I do not cover the car so I do not remove the cover. Heck, I look at the car every time I am in the garage...and love it. ;)

Open the garage door. It's the button that says "Ferrari". The other button says "Porsche".

Look at the tender/charger. If the light is green, which it almost always is, I unplug the car first then I shut off the power strip and stow them on the shelf.

I look at the windshield and make sure I cleaned it thoroughly from the previous time I drove her (name is Lola, hence "her"). If dirty, I reclean.

I open the door and sit in the seat with my legs on the garage floor, then swivel into driving position.

    Close the driver door.

Push memory driving position 1 which moves the seat and steering wheel from driving position 3 (seat full back and steering wheel up and forward).

Insert the key and turn it to the far clockwise position. Make sure the brake pedal is depressed.

Press the button on the right to turn off the "don't do anything illegal message."

Press the START button on the steering wheel.

Unfold the mirrors by turning the dial on the left dash.

Put the top up and rear window down if it's cold. make sure the top is down if it is warm (41F+)

With the brake still depressed, push the R button for REVERSE.

Push the AUTO button to put in manual mode. (After I get up my driveway the road to down is pretty steep downhill so need to stay in 1st gear. Auto upshifting is not good).

back out of the garage, turn the car around and exit the driveway.

When in town (about a mile) the engine is warm so I switch to RACE mode from WET (want to be quiet in the neighborhood so they don't kill me). then hit BUMPY ROAD button.

Put left screen in VDA so I can see when the tires and brakes are warm enough to floor it.

    Best.

I open garage door, open car door, place key in ignition, hit start button, put on seat belt , press "R" button, close garage door, and off we go. I do not name my cars. That is it. Best

    Very simple for me:
    - Unlock the car
    - Make sure to fart outside of the car
    - Get in and drive

    1. Disconnect the battery tender (unplug from the car and then turn off the power strip).

    2. Insert and turn the key. Wait for the steering wheel to move to driving position (I have an electric steering column).

    3. Press the start button.

    4. Smile.

    5. Wait for the check engine light (small orange engine symbol in left screen) to turn off. This lets me know that the car has gone through its diagnostic checks. I avoid doing anything else until the CEL goes out to reduce the risk of error messages (I don't know if this really has an effect on error messages, but I figure it can't hurt to avoid introducing any drains on the battery while the diagnostics are running).

    6. Press the auto button (to move into manual mode) and press the reverse button so I can back out of the garage.

    7. I take it easy and stay in Sport mode until the engine fluids warm up. I monitor them on the Status functions on the left screen.

My wife "participates" by caling ME allot of names, beginning with "who" spends the kind of money you do on "those cars" and it takes a "special" kind of person to love all that metal and rubber, etc. I have encouraged her to visit the Ferrari and Lamborghini Forums ( to realize I am not alone), but thus far have only succeeded getting her to take a quick look at the Maseratti (her car) forum, so some distance to travel. I am all but certain, if she makes it to the Ferrari Forum we too will find a name , maybe ours will be a boy (lol).Best

Often times it seems like the CEL goes out just as I start to move the car. Weird.

    1. Sometimes I cover the car as I live in a condo and it gets very dusty so after a wash and cool down I cover it OR if I am not going to drive it for a few days, so depending on which case I uncover the car or proceed to step 3 as If I haven't covered the car I am using it almost daily so I don't use the tender

    2. Next the Tender I unplug the wall side first and then disconnect tha car (I check it as I park my other car next to it to make sure it is almost always green.

    3. I open the door and sit in the seat with my legs on the garage floor, then swivel into driving position.

    4. Insert the key and turn it to the far clockwise position. Make sure the brake pedal is depressed.

    5. Press the START button on the steering wheel.

    6. Press the button on the right to turn off the "don't do anything illegal message."

    7. Close the drivers door

    8. Unfold the mirrors

    9. Raise the front lift

    10. Pull the paddle into first gear and drive down the driveway

    11. Once at street level and out of the driveway I lower the lift or it auto lowers at speed and then I wait for oil and water temps to come up driving in auto mode until that time

    12. Switch to RACE mode from SPORT and hit BUMPY ROAD button.

    And away I go!
