What's the story behind the 6th car down? Red, #55, and I think 07931. I thought Preston Henn had the only 275 GTB/C with that kind of body style. Could anyone fill me in one what car this is?
Long Nose 6 Carb that burned to the ground and rebuilt using part of the original chassis in the style of 06885 (Preston Henn's car) by Hietbrink. During the FF40 I saw 06885, unfortunately it was in the non-digital area so I only took 2 photo's of it. By the way all photo's posted are taking by me during the years and you can find the serial number in the photo name. If people are interested I can also post some static pics of 275's I have seen in the last 25 years. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Correction if I may to post 48; both the starburst and square-hole magnesium wheels original to 275's are Campagnolo manufacture, not Cromodora.

So this car wasn't originally built with a body style like 06885, but when it was restored from a chassis, if was rebuilt to look like 06885? Very interesting. Thanks for helping!
Here are some photos of the plethora of 275s that attended this year's Cavallino Classic including Preston Henn's 275 GTB/C 06885 and a 275 GTB/4 S N.A.R.T. Nick the early GTB 2 parked in spot 'A31' looks like the Rosso Cordoba color? With all those pictures from Europe above you might think those comp GTB models are common! Great pictures. CH Image Unavailable, Please Login
Of the rainbow of 275s they had at the Cavallino, oddly enough, I don't remember seeing a Nero 275 there. I'll check my files tomorrow and see if I have any archived
I wasn't sure of the exact name of the paint, but that seems to be correct. I remember seeing pictures of that 275 out in Carmel and I was very happy to get to see it in person. The color looks great on the car
