I have a question I hope someone might be able to answer. There was a 458 coupe parked next to the Comp Daytona. It was one of the most amazing reds I have seen.
Does anyone know what the actual color was?

Congrats Joe. I know we all give you a lot a grief, but your care of that TR really does pay off. Still wish you'd drive it more though.....!

Eddie Karam's 4cam was nice but I thought that John Gerhart's 275 GTB was a much stronger car. Fresh David Carte restoration, doesn't get any better.

The comp Daytona got the Gerald Roush Award. The criterion for this is basically any car that Gerald's daughter, Cathy, decides to give the award to. Can't argue with her choice (which was vetted by Phil Tegtmeier and Bruce Perrone). The comp Daytona was gorgeous and had a very nice racing history with Chinetti and others.

Mark Dempsey's (southern Maryland) Queen Mother (freshly restored in a terrific "Celeste" light blue) scored platinum in the concours. It may also have gotten the award for Best 2+2, but I'm not sure.

My 1969 365 GTC got gold in the concours, and the "Pinin Farina" award for best representative at the event of that legendary design house. This was a very nice surprise.
