I am in the process of settling an estate for a deceased friend and cam across a complete set of tan Ferrari TR 512 luggage ( I believe that there are 5 or 6 pieces). It looks to be unused and was likely purchased with his '93 TR. Approximately what is the value of this set?

Hi, the value is $5 bucks, gosh I've been looking for a set for the 512TR for a while now. Do you take Paypal?

But seriously, the last set that I remember being sold on this forum went for $1,800.00

If in good condition, complete with cloth cover bags and keys on leather fobs, you are going to get closer to $2500 for the set. They are pretty hard to come by and the 512TR set is rarer than the Testarossa set.

I agree, I saw a complete nice black set in Europe but 6000euro was WAY too much. I think $2500 in enough for me. Maybe $3000 if really nice. I could have buy a nice complete tan set for $1500 without the bags here in Canada but I want it black to match the car.

How often will you really use it for trips .. ?

I use the front storage to hide my panties / carcover each time... so need that space ...

These luggage parts are only in the way for me, I don't even considder buying them ... :D

When I got my luggage, my wife said now we can pack alittle more when we do an overnighter. I had to explain how the luggage was not for packing clothes in :) I paid $2500 for my complete set a couple of years ago

I'm want them more for the collector side of me. I like things that are complete and full of details. I may use them a couple times if an event makes them usefull. I bought the TR more for my own satisfaction of owning it and it will be my pride. The luggage set would enhance it.

I just paid $2,800 for a 5 piece set, still in the original Schedoni boxes, one box never opened, tan, keys, dust covers everything. Great to show your car, conversation pieces, can't see them getting cheaper the rarer they come by !!

I have another question regarding luggage. The set I have has the same 5 pieces as the black set in the above picture . However, there is a sixth pce--which is a log, rectangular case and it's larger than either of the large pieces in the picture.

I'm guessing that this was not a part of the original set??? Did any sets come with six pieces?

If you are talking Testarossa all came with a six-piece set. Frequently missing is the briefcase which fit behind the drivers seat.

My mistake--i just looked closer at what I have and that extra piece is not a Ferrari bag--sorry for the confusion. I have the standard 5 pieces and I don't have the briefcase you referred to.
