Wait until 50. Just watching things will make you hurt and stuff will start growing on you that you don't want.

That's why you're a highly paid Consultant here. Sage advice. In fact. As I'm 53, and that's when it really started hurting, I think I should be a Sage Advisor.

But they are willing to manage the process of owner verification as currently in place? A title and ID and / or photos is no good but 3 members is?

I've asked for help several times on this forum for my 348, and I can report that on all occasions I've had a very positive experience with respect to receiving outstanding assistance and guidance from both Consultants and non-consultants.

I can't take it anymore and usually don't say anything, but who cares. If you don't like the site don't join if you do like it join, I recently subscribed because after being a member for quite a while I thought I should atleast pay someone for spending all the time and effort to put such a great site together where I have gotten some valuable info from a lot of people. Thanks rob and all the guys who don't get paid to moderate, consult, and do whatever the heck you do. Been and joined other ferrari sites and nothing is ever perfect, can't please everyone, and yet I have yet to find a better site. It's tough being number 1.

Rob you run a great site and I spend way more time on here than I should for sure which Is why I have joined and do support it.

There are folks on here with tremendous knowledge bases who are more than willing to share their experience and background with those who need help. I have been the recipient of that help and am grateful for it and try to return in kind if I can.

My apologies for jumping on you on this particular matter.
It's impossible for you to be aware of every post on the site

In my opinion calling another user delusional is beneath any stsndard set to qualify someone as a consultant.

I would agree completely.... unless the other user is, in fact, delusional. And as hard as it may be to believe, some people ARE delusional.

As i said rules are same Subscribed or Consultant. Report any posts you think outside our rules and mod team will take a look. Often you can't isolate a single word like that, it may have some truth to it as Mike joked, but more likely it came in a volley of back and forths. In that case we either ignore both sides or moderate both sides.

I know the user you're talking about and he's not one to mince words. He's also not polite and doesn't really care for or about the opinions of others. He does sometimes have valuable information, but the delivery can rub people the wrong way - you're not the first. His prerogative, but my advice to you would be to put him or any other user that does the same on ignore so you don't see their posts. Life is too short to let somebody get you worked up on an internet forum.

I've been a member on many forums and mailing lists. I've gotta say, the hostility here is mind blowing. It's pretty bad when Honda Tech (Full of kids) has a better community then Fchat (Full of adults).

Ferrari ownership does not come with maturity. That’s why there are moderators who do a fine thankless job being the sheriffs. Sometimes that’s just not good enough in the eyes of some. But for anyone who has been here for a while the system Rob has in place not only works well but has grown this community to amazing proportions. I was active in the days of modems and FerrariList. I have seen the Ferrari forums come and go and there is a reason that Fchat is successful.
