If I didn't care about resale, I would dump way more into the car than it's worth to make it perfect, which I did.

 

I would do exactly what you're going to do. Toss out everything that doesn't make it go faster. Racing shell seats and harnesses. Smog delete. Interior strip. Windows out. Windscreen replacement with Lexan. Replace headlight buckets with fixed Lexan covered lights. Get to 2800 lbs.

 

I wouldn't keep all of the service records.

 

1) Tell the prospective buyer about all the valve guide issues
2) Tell the prospective buyer about the header issues
3) Show the prospective buyer the true cost of a major
4) Run the living snot out of the car on Race tracks

 

Put spinners on my 458. Jk.

Put a supercharger on it with custom manifolds like I did an old 911 I had for a while. I made it all removable so it didnt alter anything on the car but I think it might be a little harder to do to a 348!
